Third Grade Homework Policy
Homework is an important component of education. Parents are responsible for making homework a priority: providing a quiet, distraction-free, well-lit, well supplied place to work; motivating children, and supporting them through the successful completion of all tasks. Third graders will be required to complete 30 minutes of homework a night. In addition to this daily homework, at least 20 minutes of reading is also required. Please keep in mind that if your child is exceeding 30 minutes of homework, please stop them and include a note in your child’s folder.
